The purpose of this blog is to hold myself accountable. Accountable to the discipline of placing my relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ first. I’ve allowed daily idols to take me away from Life in my life. The purpose is to openly draw close to the Lord and hopefully help someone else also draw close to the Lord.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was a young child, however, I have failed many times to follow Christ’s example. My desire is not to just say that I am a Christian but to truly act like a Christian. I know that it takes hard work and discipline to follow after Christ, this is what I hope to grow.
Each day my desire is to share a true heart felt prayer to the Lord with you, my readers, in a “Open prayer (letter) to the Lord. In addition a scripture that I have read for the day, and a song that encourages me for that day.
